We are pleased to introduce the special exhibition "Four Seasons of Japan."

Japan is said to be the country with seasons full of expressions. Spring is represented with a beautiful profusion of flowers, early summer with fresh green and deep green in midsummer, colored leaves in autumn and in winter, the landscape turns into snow white. Such variety of attractive landscapes may have grown our culture and natural features. The western-style painters after the Meiji Period also have tried to express such beauty with oil painting. For this exhibition, we have collected the masterpieces of the modern western-style painters from Japan including Takeji Fujishima, Morikazu Kumagai, Tetsugoro Yorozu for you to fully enjoy "Four Seasons of Japan" in western-style paintings. We sincerely look forward to your visit.
