“The other axis of the exhibition ponders over the forms that preserve or demonstrate sounds local to Beitou. Also, through experiments with different senses, it aims to revitalize visitors’ imagination toward sounds. Artist Huang Pin-Ling’s Rustling in Mind series takes natural environment as point of departure. Sounds heard are recorded via colors and brushes. The mildly moist air in the mountains is reflected in the picture for spectators to bathe in a spring rain. ” - Hong-gah Museum Website
Exhibition project “Sound Talks: Local Soundscape Collecting Project” will open on Friday. In exhibition, artist Pinling Huang presents the series “Rustling in Mind”, including the pig size painting work “Whisper of the Mountains”. We invite friends interested in the works of Pingling to visit the show at the Hong-gah Museum!
