This is Mr. Ryohei Matsumoto's second large exhibition after his memorial solo show for winning of the Showakai Award in 2022. He has enjoyed painting and appreciated animals since his childhood and began aiming to become a painter who paints animals on a full scale after majoring and studying structural biology at a university and graduate school.
Animals of his motifs which he has long painted have recently advanced to Japanese classical painting and culture, and expand their field further to the world heritages of the world and even to the world of dinosaurs in this exhibition. Please enjoy approximately 40 pieces of his new works which describe animals living diversely in the stage beyond borders and ages.
