"Being consistent with his philosophy when facing painting, Liu Chih-Hung continues to focus on capturing life experience and memories and further transform them onto canvas. What is different from before is that the emotion that contains within seems to have grown stronger. Even though the works shown here are small, the selection and appropriation of colors, as well as the delicate hand feel presented in his paintings emits a blazing sensation. The composition of the artworks not only show the movement of his inner status, but also finely conveys the artist`s emotion and understanding of the actual image. One of the paintings consisted of non-low tone colors clearly challenged yet undoubtedly conquered the usual way of his use of brushstrokes. We may say that such precise arrangement towards details is definitely a rare and exciting execution."
