The imagination of modern Asia constructed by Japan before war through modernization and cultural interaction has become a historical labyrinth after war. This exhibition seeks to represent the complex perspectives of Asia by inviting contemporary artists from the region to re-enter this labyrinth, and re-interpret history in reference with the post war art works of Japanese modern masters.
